Dave was born to Edward (Bud) and Norma (Skala) Mariman on July 28, 1963, in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Dave lived in several places but always called Grand Island home. Dave was the 4th oldest in a family of 12 kids.
Dave was an over-the-road truck driver for many years, until he retired early due to a medical condition. He enjoyed all the places he got to see along the way. He took great pride in the trucks he owned. He loved to talk about the oversized loads he hauled for the army.
Dave's second love was his dogs: Skeeter, Mutter, and Scrappy. He treated them like his kids, and they were the only ones he really got along with.
Dave enjoyed movies, sitcoms, Fox News, "The Five" and TRUMP, of course. He enjoyed yard work, gardening, and fishing. He wore gloves to put the worms on the hook and to take the fish off the hook.
He is survived by his sister, Terry Starns (Larry Teeter) of Brewster, his sister Dianna Orr (Roland Polodna) of Grand Island, his brother, Bill (Debbie) Mariman of Colby, his sister, Chris (Glen) Bliss of Ogallala, his sister, Kelly (Duane) Kriegshauser of Colby, his sister, Shelly (Jason) Dinkel of WaKeeney, his sister, Vicky Opliger (Pat Orscheln) of Kansas City and many nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Christopher and Joseph.
