Frances A. Griego

Frances Ann Griego, 83, of Colby, died Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1942, to Frank and Anna Bosch. Frances worked for Pepsi in Colby for 15 years and was a cook at the Senior Progress Center. She was an amazing home maker and dedicated to her family. Raising her children and watching them grow is what brought her true happiness. She was an amazing cook, especially her fried chicken, anytime there was a request for food her fried chicken topped the list. She was a friend to everyone and was always ready to help those in need. Frances enjoyed going to dances, collecting Barbies, doing crafts, cross-stitch, crocheting, and embroidery. She was a member of the Colby VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Christina Marie and Colleen Lea, an infant brother and ex-husband Pula Griego.

She is survived by her children, Evelyn Wilson, Johnnie (Brian) Barton and Vincent (Lisa) Griego; grandchildren Brittany Barton and Alli (Kristen) Buhrmeister and great grandson Taylor Barton.
