H. Joanne (Nall) Lahman died April 15, 2025, at Donelson Care Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee at the age of 94 years. She was born February 4, 1931, at her parents’ home near Stotesbury, Missouri to Bennett M. and Jennie L. (Hicks) Nall, the youngest of eight children. She graduated from Walker Missouri High School in 1949. She was married September 9, 1950, to Howard M. Lahman, a son of Charles J. and Margaret (Stover) Lahman. She and her husband made their home in Winona, Kansas for several years, moving their family to Brush, Colorado in 1964. She and Howard moved to the Big Thompson Canyon in 1975. After they retired, they moved to Oberlin, Kansas in 1990 and to McCook, Nebraska in 2010. Joanne moved to Fayetteville, TN in 2023. Joanne had a large collection of dolls and made blown glass for several years. She and her husband refinished antique furniture for many years, and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and crafts. She enjoyed drawing in her last years.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; four sisters; a son Phil in 2015 and her husband in 2019.

She is survived by a daughter, Melinda Speaker, of Sulphur Springs, TX; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Joanne was interred April 21, 2025, beside her husband at the Winona Cemetery, in Winona, Kansas.
