Lorayne J. Hale

L. Joyce Hale, 83, died Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born in Stratton, NE, on April 17, 1942, to Albert and Vera (Studer) Holub. Joyce attended McDonald High School and graduated in 1961. She loved flowers, teddy bears and children. She had no children of her own but loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She loved taking pictures at any family gathering, env if the heads were always cut off. You might see your head in 1 out of every 100 pictures. Even though Joyce was handicapped at birth, she was able to survive, became a good baker, and was able to live on her own for decades.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Marge, Albert Jr., Bud, Judy, Patty and Pete, and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings, Larry, Ronnie, Randy and Tammy, and lots and lots of nieces and nephews.
